Consumer anger over dioxane contamination causing big changes
I spoke with Adam Brockman of Healthy Green Goods located at 702 Main Street in Evanston, Illinois, and he is really concerned about dioxane. He said his store is doing everything possible to sell pure products, and they areóthatís the good news.
We talked at length. I told him his Ikove line, which he asked me to evaluate, actually looked really good and it could be offered with confidence to consumers.
He asked me about Earth Friendly. I told him that Earth Friendly dish washing product we analyzed tested positive for the cancer-causing chemical. (Earth Friendly has sent out a press release stating that they are going to take it out of their products.)
I told him we will retest them and let him know how good a job they have done. Until then, I told Brockman, I would prefer other brands: for example, Dr. Bronnerís All One Soap is great for washing dishes.
Meantime, it is thanks to conscientious community stores like Healthy Green Goods that we are making a difference. God bless you Healthy Green Goods, we love you for what you do!
