On the roof there is something special going on here

Welcome to the way things should be.

I mean, guys were working, the f-150s and other trucks were in the lot.  All of the action was on the roof.  I had just pulled into to see the manufacturing facility for Earth Friendly Products in Garden Grove, California.  (The company has five regional manufacturing facilities across the nation, making it the only major player with its own real plants.)  The products themselves are fantastic.  They are as pure as pure is ever going to be.  That's better than good.  That's the best.

But, as I said, the action was on the roof.  Not only going petroleum free in its great household cleaning products is enough for this company, that day I was there, their new solar energy system was going up, putting a lot of men and women to work in the new green collar economy.  This is what makes this company different.  They are building our future.

Earth Friendly Products has real substance and is making a difference to people.  The company has five manufacturing facilities that already are carbon neutral.  In fact, because they are the only major green cleaning company that does have this capability, their approach cuts down transportation miles, while adding jobs, most recently in Washington state where their Ecos laundry and Wave dishwashing products are number one sellers in all the big box stores and health food stores and supermarkets because of theri completely safety for water.  Actually, this brand sells big everywhere.  It delivers everything a modern consumer wants:  value, effectiveness, and the very highest water quality standards.  That means a lot.

You see up in Washington what you empty your laundry water into the environment it goes into the water somewhere.  That state, despite global warming, is watery (though some salmon streams are warming).  People there can't allow phosphates or caustic and corrosive pollutants to mar their water.  When you get pollutants in one waterway they can diffuse into many others including ground and surface waters that people need for drinking or agriculture.  Already, too many pollutants have found their way into the Puget Sound or into some of the bays and estauaries.  Earth Friendly Products' Wave and Ecos products work great but at a mild pH, not highly alkaline.  No phosphates or other salts either.  No powdered products that need phosphates.  No dioxane or formaldehyde or any petroleum byproducts.  Purely recyclable containers.  Local jobs.

And now in California their facility is producing the vast majority of its energy from its own resources, freeing up the grid, and helping to keep our nation strong.  No wonder this company is doing everything right and their products are gaining consumer favor.  They should be.  It is the way things should be.

Here are some pictures from the solar roof atop the facility in Garden Grove, California, for Earth Friendly Products:

You come.  You do great things.

It is a story worth being told.
