The Volt's sticker price may be a shocker

The new GM Volt is going to cost $41,000 before the approximate $7,500.00 tax credit.  While that may present sticker shocker to many people, the truth of the matter is that all new technologies cost more.  Those folks who want to be in the vanguard will buy this plug-in electric-gas vehicle.  I like it.  I just bought a Ford Excape hybrid for my wife Ana, so I probably won't be buying the Volt anytime soon.

I am listening to John Batchelor on WABC radio with guest host Larry Kudlow who is being his usual stick-in-the-mud nothing new under the sun.  He is putting it down.  "Will the battery last long enough to get me to a gas station?"

The GM Volt will be competing with the Nissan Leaf that should sell for $25,000 after the approximate $7,500.00 tax credit.

You will have to go to the GM Volt website by the way to find a dealer who will be selling this important new card.
